LITERACY PROJECT
The Organization of Women Writers of Africa is interested in
encouraging young people ages 14 - 22 to build positive attitudes toward the future. The Literary Literacy Project will establish a network of community based reading and writing centers in libraries and various other sites where the issue of development and educational preparation can be address by inviting young people to participate in the exploration of life and creative diversity through the study of world literature, creative writing, and exposure to new
research materials and technology.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Conversations with Creative Women Series Discussion groups that meet on an adhoc basis featuring invited guests Introductory Receptions: Welcoming writers from the international Literary Community Literary Panels, Readings, Lectures and Performances Book Exhibitions Collective book collabrations and signings.
